Never marked away.
A tiny desktop app that keeps you showing as present — on your schedule, not your computer's.

One key, yours for good
Your $10 buys one licence key that activates Etti Awake on up to 3 of your computers. Activation is the only time the app ever goes online — after that it works offline forever. There's no account to make and the key never expires. New laptop down the track? Email us and we'll reset your key.

First open needs one extra click.
macOS doesn't recognise Etti Awake yet, so it'll warn you the first time. Don't hit “Move to Trash”: in Finder, right-click (or Control-click) the app and choose Open, then Open again in the dialog that pops up. After that first time it opens normally, no warning.
If the Accessibility permission prompt keeps coming back even after you've enabled it, remove Etti-Awake from System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility, then add it again — a fresh install sometimes needs macOS to re-trust it from scratch.
How it works
Your computer tracks how long since your last key or mouse move. Once that passes a few minutes, apps like Teams flip you to Away. While Etti Awake is switched on — and inside the hours and days you've chosen — it taps a harmless no-op key (F15 by default) every few minutes, so the timer never trips and you stay present. F15 types nothing and triggers no shortcuts, so it stays out of your way.
- ✓One On/Off switch — that's the whole app
- ✓Pick the key it taps (default F15, a no-op)
- ✓Active hours (default 9:00–17:00)
- ✓Choose which days it runs (default Mon–Fri)
- ✓Open automatically at login
- ✓Runs fully offline — nothing logged or sent
Yours, and only yours.
Apart from that single activation step, Etti Awake runs entirely on your machine and never connects to the internet. Nothing is logged, stored or sent anywhere. It uses its permission for one thing only: to press a key on a timer while you've switched it on. On macOS it asks for Accessibility access (needed to send the keystroke) — and only when you click Enable, never out of the blue.
